April 2010
Here in this modern world, since we were born, we have been told we can be anything we want. An Astronaut, an Architect, an Investment Banker, a stay-at-home dad/mom…whatever.
There aren’t any rules and the choices are endless. Even for a shade of blue, we’ve been given 30 different choices and names.
And in this generation, practically anything can happen.
So is it possible that we have gotten so spoiled with choices that we’re unable to make one?
That a part of us knows that once you choose something, another option goes away.
Are we a generation who can’t just choose one from Column A?
Are we given too much to handle or…can we have it all?
Goodnight monsters.

This is getting way out of hand. I’m seeing so much shit about them na.
It’s almost like people are just bashing them to make themselves feel better than themselves kasi meron silang like a group they can pick on.
Or people are just riding with this bandwagon kasi it’s like the new in-thing, hahaha.

Maybe modern people need a cheat sheet to remind us that romance isnt dead.
…because in those several years of dating, you somehow end up a bit jaded until you just go out there… in survival-of-the-fittest fashion.
And if you are single and in your twenties, it’s not unusual that you’ve had quite a handful of that over the course of your life.
but what does it make you?
Romantically-challenged? or a slut?
I’m not one to talk…but I still believe in romance though. It may come in different forms (read: Bad Romance) but it’s still alive… i think.
Goodnight little monsters.
